Dr. Mohit Kumar Joshi completed his MBBS from GSVM Medical College Kanpur in the year 2000. He chose to pursue a career in General Surgery and did MS from MLB Medical College, Jhansi in 2004.

He joined as a senior resident in the Department of Surgery in University College of Medical Sciences (UCMS), Delhi in the year 2004. During his senior residency he completed DNB in General Surgery. Since 2007, he is working as Assistant Professor of Surgery in UCMS.

He is a fellow of ‘Association of Indian Surgeons’ and a member of ‘National Academy of Medical Sciences.’ He has got various publications in National and International journals of repute and serves as a reviewer of many medical journals. He is life member of many surgical societies including ASI, AMASI, ISTAC, IAGES, SELSI and IATCC. He also works as an instructor for ‘Advanced Trauma Life Support’ and ‘Pre Hospital Trauma Life Support programs.’


His areas of special interest include trauma and medical education.
